You can check to see if you are registered to vote with the Texas Secretary of State. Make sure you are registered for your current address of residence.
In Texas, voter registration must be mailed to your local County Voter Registrar or given to a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar. To register, you can fill out the form online here and then mail it to your local County Voter Registrar (here if you live in Harris County).
If you are already registered and need to change your name or address within the same county in which you are registered, you can fill out a form online here.
You can check which HISD district you live in and see if your trustee seat is up for election this year online here (your district number is the Houston ISD Position listed under info). Districts II, III, IV, and VIII (positions 2, 3, 4, and 8) are up for election.
Harris County now has Countywide Polling Centers that allow you to vote at any polling location on election day. To find more information about polling locations, visit here.
