Houston GPS works to advocate for effective and transparent school board governance. There are many ways that you can be involved, from just keeping informed to joining our Ambassador program. Take a look to see how you can be a part of ensuring that all kids have access to high-quality education.
Become an Ambassador
Ambassadors volunteer their time, serve as spokespeople for Houston GPS, and work to support civic engagement in the community like voting and going to school board meetings.
Attend School Board Meetings
Join Houston GPS at the monthly school board meetings. The board holds public meetings at 5:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month in the HISD Board Auditorium, 4400 West 18th Street.
Stay Informed
Our newsletter provides you with updates on what is happening with the school board and gives you first access to our monthly trustee report cards.
