Diana Dávila

Diana Dávila has been the District VIII trustee since 2016, and will be up for election in 2019. She previously served on the HISD Board of Education from 2003 to 2010. Diana graduated from Milby High School in HISD, and also attended Park Place Elementary School, Lewis Elementary School, and Deady Middle School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and her master’s degree in educational management and principal certification from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Diana has volunteered her time with her tutorial program and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She serves as a mentor with the Best Friends program and was a community liaison for the Hispanic Educational Leadership Committee. To learn more about Diana, visit the HISD Board website.
